Julie has been a member of the Southside Veterinary Clinic team since July 2009. She was born and raised in Liberal, KS and has always had a passion to care for animals. She started out as Veterinary Technician and has truly grown into her client service position. The furry members of her family include 9 rescued dogs that range from big to small, and 2 rescue cats. A few of Julie’s interests outside of the clinic are spending time with family and friends and relaxing at home with her furry family members.
Holly has been with Southside Veterinary Clinic since April 2017. She is from a small town in good ole south central Texas and has always wanted to work with animals. She started her veterinary career by going to school to be a veterinary technician and decided to focus her skills towards client services within the veterinary field. Holly and her husband have a Miniature Australian Shepard named Maximus, a Red Heeler Mix named Liam, and a rescued cat named Cupcake. In her free time, Holly enjoys traveling, bird watching, and spending quality time with her family.
Dom joined the Southside Veterinary Clinic team in August 2021. She received her Associate Degree in Applied Science focusing on Veterinary Technology in 2021 and became a Registered Veterinary Technician the same year in November. Dom has always wanted to work in the veterinary field and has a 2 dogs, a cat, and a snake. She enjoys learning and reading about new things, biking, swimming, and skating (roller skating or ice skating).
Emma worked at Southside Veterinary Clinic from 2012 to 2013 and came back in July 2019. She received her Bachelor Degree in Environmental Biology from Wichita State University in 2015 and volunteered at the Sedgwick County Zoo for 3 years. Emma enjoys spending time out in nature, whether it be hiking, camping, swimming, kayaking, fishing, or sitting in the woods bird watching. She has always easily bonded with animals big and small which is what drew her to the veterinary field. She loves the nursing care aspect of veterinary medicine and can usually be found cuddling with our clinic patients. Emma has 3 rescued cat fur babies named Cali, Monkey, and Ash.
Priscilla joined Southside Veterinary Clinic in June 2019. She has always wanted a career working with animals and has an Associate Degree of Applied Science focusing on Veterinary Technology from WSU Tech. Priscilla is currently working towards a Bachelor Degree in Zoo Science at Wichita State University. She enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine but is really passionate about assisting with all things surgery related. As an avid outdoor enthusiast, Priscilla loves exploring with her two dogs Bubbles and Clover. She also enjoys spending time with family and friends.
Kara has been a valued member of our staff at Southside Veterinary Clinic since joining in September 2013. She has been a Registered Veterinary Technician since 2012 and received her Associate Degree in Applied Science focusing on Veterinary Technology in 2011. She is currently studying to get her Bachelor of Business Administration. Kara has always loved animals and has a Siberian Husky named Malikye, an Australian Shepherd named Dozzer, a one eyed cat named Rooster Cogburn, a sibling to the clinic cats named Teeny Weeny, and five chickens named Rosie, Flounder, Lucy, Jorgee, and Eddie. She enjoys doing home improvement projects, crafting, and spending time with her husband and daughter.
