 Welcoming a new puppy or kitten is a joyous occasion! We're honored to assist in their care. We recommend their first visit at 6 to 8 weeks for an early check-up. The earlier, the better, allowing us to proactively address health concerns. Each visit includes a Wellness Examination, parasite control, tailored vaccinations, flea/tick and heartworm prevention advice, and behavioral/nutritional consultations. This comprehensive approach ensures a healthy and happy start for your newest family member. 

 Prioritizing Wellness Examinations at every life stage is important! These examinations are designed to proactively maintain your pet's well-being and avert potential issues before they escalate. Typically, annual check-ups are advised for most pets, while seniors and those with chronic health concerns benefit from biannual visits. Conducted when your pet is in good health, these assessments encompass a comprehensive overview of their general well-being. Based on the findings, our team may recommend vaccinations, diagnostics, or treatment options tailored to ensure your pet's ongoing health and happiness. 

 In times of distress or when your pet displays signs of illness, our Sick Examinations come into play. These examinations are dedicated to addressing the specific symptoms or issues your pet is facing. To pinpoint the cause, we may employ additional diagnostic tools like bloodwork, imaging, or laboratory tests. Once a diagnosis is established, we collaborate with you to explore and implement suitable treatment options, be it medications or surgeries, ensuring your pet receives the precise care needed for a swift recovery.

 Opting for spaying or neutering is a key step in promoting the longevity and well-being of your pets, while simultaneously contributing to the crucial cause of minimizing unwanted pet populations. Our pricing estimates are tailored to your pet's unique characteristics, factoring in weight, age, and any supplementary procedures required (such as pre-anesthetic blood work). This personalized approach ensures that the cost is precisely determined based on the specific needs of your cherished companion. 

The procedure to clean your pet’s teeth is similar to what your dentist would perform, except our patients are placed under general anesthesia for comfort and safety. Once anesthetized, we remove the calculus on all surfaces of the teeth and under the gum line with an ultrasonic scaling machine. The teeth are then polished smooth with a fluoride paste to inhibit plaque buildup.  Any loose or abscessed teeth will be extracted as needed, addressing pain and promoting long-term oral health.
